how does it work?
The packer has to make important decisions within a very short time, which determine the satisfaction of the customer. Which promotional item suits the customer best? Do the goods need to be packed separately? Which cardboard box is most suitable?
Even with a lot of previous knowledge and a long training period, this is exactly where mistakes often happen under stressful conditions.
The pack2light system controls the processes at the packing table and provides the packer with relevant information on each customer order. Via a workflow system, which runs centrally on the ix.light server, the required information is read out from a database in real time. This information is then displayed on a touchscreen monitor at the packing table. In addition, the integrated scan2light® system at the packing table guides the packer quickly and safely to the correct compartments. For example, the ERP, shop, CRM and shipping systems can be used as data sources.
Pack2light supports you quickly, flexibly and reliably in finding the optimal parcel insert for your customers. The training time for new employees is less than a minute. After that, they can work just as error-free and fast as experienced packers with many years of experience. This advantage is especially important for mail order companies with fast growth, seasonal fluctuations or complicated or error-prone processes at the packing table.
With the addition of a customised package insert, you not only create an increase in your marketing success with simultaneous cost savings, but you can also evaluate the marketing campaigns later on a person-specific basis.
